Where can I get a copy of Dominica Traveller ?
Copies are free on island. Look for them at participating hotels, restaurants, at the airport and at the Calibishie tourism office. From October 2017, printed copies of volume three can be purchased online and will be posted internationally from Florida.
Why are printed copies free on island but not elsewhere ?
Local businesses pay for advertising in Dominica Traveller and this provides the bulk of financing required to produce the publication. Free distribution on island gives these businesses maximum exposure. Travellers pick them up, take them home, share them with friends. They pass through many hands and have a long shelf life. Payment for overseas purchase of printed copies covers the cost of shipping from the UK plus fulfillment handling.
How much does it cost to advertise in Dominica Traveller, what do I have to do and when do I have to pay ?
The answers to these questions and more are in the media kit. If you would like one, please email email@example.com
Paul used to have a blog with hiking and travel updates. Is this no longer available ?
Due to his other commitments, Paul doesn’t have time to do this any more. Please contact organisations such as the Discover Dominica Authority and the Waitukubuli National Trail whose job it is to provide assistance and updates to travellers.
Where can I buy Paul’s Bradt Travel Guide to Dominica ?
Most people buy the book from online retailers such as Amazon. You can buy it from specialist travel book shops such as Foyles and Stanfords in London, or you can simply ask your local bookshop to order it in for you. The book is not available for purchase in Dominica.
Does Paul offer guide services ?
No, he doesn’t. There are many great licensed guides in Dominica and Paul is more than happy to leave this to them.
